Model overview

This four-corner workstation deliberately exposes only validated models: a generic double-wishbone front and the original calculator's rigid trailing-carrier rear. Rear closure may use the fixed upper link or fixed halfshaft.

Coordinates & signs

Canonical coordinates use +X rearward, +Y vehicle right, +Z upward. Positive camber moves the wheel top outboard; positive toe is toe-in.

Calculation state

Edits mark the current result STALE. Run suite preserves the previous view until a newer revision completes.

Current solver scope

Parallel travel, paired flat-road roll, rack steering, lateral force at two trails, braking, traction and aligning torque are solved at all four corners. C3 profiles additionally combine steering, geometric/elastic cornering transfer, brake dive and rear-drive acceleration squat. Compliance supports nonlinear local-axis translation and conical/torsional rotation.

C3 workbook boundary

Mass, CG, track, roll-centre, roll-rate and longitudinal transfer defaults come from Dynamic Suspension Analysis for C3.xlsx. These are steady-state equilibrium profiles; damper velocity and tyre relaxation remain outside this model.

Evidence boundary

KPI names and behavior follow public RACE material. This application does not claim proprietary equations or regression windows.
